In case we haven’t met, I’m Andrea Hanson.

I’m a bestselling author of two books about having a positive mindset while living with a diagnosis; Live Your Life, Not Your Diagnosis and Stop Carrying The Weight of Your MS.

I’m also a master certified life & mindset coach and the creator and host of the Live Your Life, Not Your Diagnosis™ podcast.

I’ve led workshops for Mindset and The National MS Society.

When I was diagnosed with MS over 20 years ago, I was a hustler and an honor student in graduate school. I was always going for the A, an overachiever and as active in my play time as I was in work.

I didn’t slow down- not even when I found out I had MS. I kept pushing because it was the only way I knew how to do things. As much as I hated to admit it, I was terrified people would find out I was as broken as I told myself I was.

I realized that living that way was not only unsustainable, but detrimental to my long term health and my relationships.

I wanted to learn how to rest, change my lifestyle, and learn how to not be so hard on myself. I found that mindset was the key to making this happen. Specifically, how I spoke to myself. Getting the right mindset allowed me to make all sorts of changes and create sustainable habits more easily and quickly.

Now I bring what I learned to my clients to help them unlock the most powerful tool we have – our mindset.
